Summary: Parents BEWARE - this is for the original XBox, not the XBox360!
Comment: Stupid me.... I bought my son an XBox 360 for Christmas and just discovered this game is for the original XBox - hence, the price. This might seem obvious to all the gamers out there, but for those of us who don't have a clue about these games and only supply the credit card to purchase items as gifts, beware! They really should publish a "Buying Video Games for Dummies (aka Moms)" for all of us out there trying to buy gifts for gamers.

Comment: Since I bought my first Madden in '05, I have played thousands of games. This is the best product and it is the biggest year-over-year improvement they have produced to date. They have finally have the running game right.
I am 62, hate golf, ride my bike 40 miles a week and spend my 'hobby' time playing Madden, smoking cigars, and pretending to give interviews to the press about how a team owner can create a team that wins every game for thirty years.
Winning is easy, get a 99 throwing power QB, a couple of 99 speed receivers streaking down the sidelines, and learn to pitch and catch to the side of the field that the defensive safeties aren't. Add a good tight-end running a post pattern just in case the safeties are in a cover-two: and you are the king! I play on All-Madden, with the CPU-AI turned all the way up and only lose a couple of games out of a hundred.
Until this year, I couldn't run the ball successfully on the higher levels, and my offense was 80% passing. This year they have finally supported good moves for the running back, and my offense has developed a good running game: much more fun.
